The THS Chamber Choir has performed The Star-Spangled Banner for school, community and state events including a performance for Senator Joseph Lieberman at THS; opening a session of Connecticut General Assembly in our state capitol, Hartford, CT; Senior Night athletic events; Graduation and various Clubs and Organizations in Litchfield County.  On March 8, 2009, THS Chamber Choir performed in Carnegie Hall with the 100-member National Festival Chorus.  Torrington has received the honor of Best 100 Communities for Music Education each year 2000--2009.
